ECO Shoe Dryer

ecoshoesdryer1.jpg

You experienced the problem before. Your cycling shoes are soaked after a wet ride or race. Up until now the best way to dry them was to either load them up with paper towels or completely open them up to dry. A company called L.I.D (Life In Detail) created a shoe dryer primarily for folks who suffer from sweaty feet. Athletes such as cyclist, triathletes, runners etc. who battle the elements can use something to dry out their wet shoes other than an extra pair.

Japanese Bike Messenger Movie

I wish I could watch the full length movie of this trailer somehow. The Japanese version of Quicksilver. The plot line seems to go like this. Rich spoiled girl hits bike messenger. Bike messenger is out of commission, so rich girl has to take over her job for some reason. She is introduced to the world of Japanese bike messengers and the rigors of the job. Girl falls in love with bike messenger guy, but then has to battle the Japanese mob who ride on motorcycles.

Thanks to cyclelicio.us for leading up to this video. cyclelicio.us has a video on an NYC bike messenger. Not as crazy as the Lucas Brunelle videos, this is more of a profile of one bike messenger.

Carlike Bike Rack

The rise in gas prices and the fattening of many waistlines have lead to increased bike sales througout the US. A certain Mr. Armstrong may have helped spur along the visibility of the bike too.

Now, where do you park your bike? The Cool Hunter shows a very modern designed bike rack that also sends a message. Shaped like a car, the Car Bike Rack can fit in any parking spot. The humorous and witty use of space is cool, but I wouldn’t want to park my bike in the street where someone will clip my back wheel.
