The FISO group decided to test out the Crostis descent with all of the safety additions via MTB. The result is not as bad as it seems in the previous video where a person driving a car is looking at a few of the initial safety barriers and the massive drop-off.
The Giro organizers decided to exclude the Crostis from the stage. One reason may be that Contador has pretty much locked up the Maglia Rosa with his performance today. The Giro organizers do not want to risk another injury on this descent after the horrible crash involving Wouter Weylandt in the first week.
