If you are old like me you remember the technology borrowed from Mountain Biking for Paris Roubaix in the 90s.
Gilbert Duclos Lasalle and Anderi Tchmil used them to great effect way back when, but they lost favor since the shows seemed a bit excessive.

It’s amazing they were able to get that fork down to what? 1500-1700g in the early 1990′s (in all metal!) I’ll be damned to see this happen again without being touched by a carbon fiber angel!
