Bettini Takes Tivoli

Paolo Bettini won the first stage and the leader’s jersey in Tirreno Adriatico. The Quick Step Olympic Champion beat out Erik Zabel and Thor Hushovd. This is the seventh second place finish by Erik Zabel this year.
