Bjarne Riis has a preliminary list of riders that will be on CSCs Tour de France roster. Ivan Basso heads up the list as he aims to improve on his second place of 2005. The rest of the team is made up of Tour veterans that will help Basso in all situations. The riders are: Aversen, Cancellara, Julch, Lombardi, O’Grady, Piil, Sastre, Schleck, Voight and Zabriske.

Kurt Asle will have a good year in 2006, riding for Basso. He is very happy and content at CSC.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like many riders want to leave CSC. There were riders such as Jorge Jascke who left but mostly for money issues. Jascke did perform well at the Tour this year as the rest of his Liberty-Seguros team flailed. But the year that Jascke had in 2004 was better. Jascke and Voight were a great combo that year.
