Lampre-Fondital with Astarloa?
Giuseppe Saronni looks to be lining up a co-sponsor for the Lampre team after the departure of Caffitta (subsidiary of Saeco). Fondital is an Italian owned company that produces aluminum radiators. The new sponsor will be made official possibly this Saturday. Fondital may make it possible to allow Lampre to sign former World Champion Igor Astarloa, who has had his fair share of suffering from the World Champion’s curse.
Fondital’s colors are red, so maybe the new Lampre team kit will remove that horrible pinkish/salmon color?
