Levi Leipheimer wins the Tour of Germany. Levi held off Jan Ullrich in yesterday’s time trial to take the overall win. American cycling is very strong despite Armstrong’s retirement as Bobby Julich came in second on the TT just behind Jan Ullrich.
Daniele Bennati of Lampre took his third sprint stage win on the final day just beating Baden Cooke.
