Bernucci wins, everyone else survives
Rain and slick roads made the last hundred meters of todays stage dangerous and provided a slight shakeup in the overall standings.
The big winner is Alexander Vinokourov, riding aggresively and barely avoiding a crash, he was able to gain some precious seconds on Armstrong. The big loser today looks to be Ivan Basso as he dropped outof 10th place. The offical TDF site does not have full results, so come back to see what the impact is on Basso’s GC placing.
